Downhere Receives Record Number of Nominations

Downhere was honored with ELEVEN 2009 Covenant Award nominations from the Gospel Music Association Canada, which makes the group the highest ranking nominee of the year. The 31st Annual Covenant Awards will be handed out October 23, 2009 in Calgary Alberta, Canada, as the finale of GMA Canada Week.   "We're honored to be recognized in our home country, and excited that we're a part of the music that is coming out of Canada,” says Downhere. “This is an album we feel the Lord has given us and it's a blessing to see it resonate with so many people."
