Mountainbrook Church, Grace Church, and Calvary SLO are hosting SLO Youth Spooktacular, Wed., Oct. 29, 6:30-9pm.  A completely FREE event for Jr. High and High School students!  Students are invited to dress up in a costume and prepare for a night of fun!  There'll be a photo booth, inflatables, a costume contest, a DJ & dance music, and an outdoor concert from the band Hearts Like Lions! Lompoc Foursquare Church is holding their annual Block Party with a Carnival theme from 5:30 to 8:30pm, Fri., Oct. 31, in the 100 block of North C Street. This event includes over 30 games with prizes and contests for children of all age, a 27’ inflated slide, pony rides, Hot Wheel Car track, The Shooting Shack and music, too.  This event is free and open to the public. Calvary SLO is hosting Perspectives 2015, beginning Fri., Jan. 9 from 5:30pm-8:30pm.  Perspectives is a 15 week course designed around four vantage points or “perspectives”- Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God’s global purpose. The primary issue is to discover: vision to live a life of purpose.
